Walled Garden Restaurant

Visit Website

We are situated in a Victorian Walled Garden which means that the majority of our vegetables, salad and fruits carry literally no food miles, whilst our shellfish travels a mere two miles up the road from the pier in Ard-Dubh, where our local fisherman lands. From prawns and lobster to crabs and squats, it would be hard to find fresher.

Our meat is generally supplied by local crofters and last year we even got a couple of our own pigs, who very happily live in Culduie. Towards the end of the summer we obtain venison from the Applecross Estate that we butcher in-house. Whilst our tried and tested seafood and meat dishes are extremely popular, we appreciate that we are living in an ever more veggie world and always have options to cater for vegans and vegetarians.

Sustainability is not only for our food sources, but also about supporting young people striving to live and thrive in a fragile community in the remote west Highlands.
